The cottage was constructed using SIPS (Structural Insulated Panels) for maximum energy efficiency, strength and durability, and the foundation was constructed with insulated concrete forms (ICF). The home’s siding is a 1×3 v-groove dimension cypress which was stained with a carefully matched custom color. The spacious balcony areas allow for enjoyable outdoor space and extra-large windows allow for natural light to warm up the living and dining areas. In-floor radiant heating and an energy-efficient wood burning stove make guests feel cozy and comfortable.
